How to Apply

The application process for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is easy - just follow the steps below:

STEP 1)Submit an online application (you must use Internet Explorer) or fill out a paper copy and fax/mail it to American Sentinel University. You need to submit your resume, curriculum vitae or list of professional accomplishments and goals statement as a part of the application.

STEP 2)Evidence of RN credentials and Associate Degree. For admissions evaluation, you may fax or email a copy to 1-866-505-2450 or admissions@AmericanSentinel.edu.

STEP 3)If your first language is not English and you do not have an undergraduate degree from an institution where all courses were taught in English (one of the following is required):
  • a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 600 (written version) or 215 (computer version).
  • an IELTS (International English Language Test) minimum overall band of 5 for undergraduate and 6.5 for graduate programs or verified earned certification in an English proficiency program.
  • SAT verbal exam scores of 500 or higher.
  • ACT English exam scores of 19 to 20 or higher.

Note: Nurses educated outside the US and who are eligible to practice as registered nurses in the United States will need to be certified by CGFNS and pass the NCLEX-RN licensure examination before being considered for admission to the program.

STEP 4)$50 Application fee is included in the tuition.
