Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Program Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) program is intended for students who have graduated from high school, have basic familiarity with computers, and are interested in obtaining the fundamental knowledge and skills expected from today's information technology professionals.

The BS in Information Technology program courses are open for enrollment twice a month.

Program Objectives

The objectives of the program are to:

  • Provide students with a well-rounded education through the study of mathematics, natural sciences, social science, humanities, and written and oral communication.
  • Enable students to develop analytical and critical thinking and interpersonal skills applicable to real-world problems.
  • Develop the skills needed to apply fundamental systems analysis and design, project management, and end user support concepts and methods.
  • Prepare students for entry-level positions in the information technology segments of business, industry, government, and education.
