DSST and CLEP Credits

For American Sentinel students, DSST and CLEP credits fast-track degrees, save you money

Translating military, work and cultural experience into college credit through DSST® and CLEP® exams is one of the great benefits available to U.S. service members seeking a degree.

Sponsored by the U.S. government's Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), the exams provide service members with an opportunity transfer credit toward several general education requirements at college.

American Sentinel University features 22 courses that map to DSST exams and 16 courses that map to CLEP exams, which cover topics such as history, economics, psychology, chemistry, math, sociology, applied technology, physical sciences, English composition and more.

American Sentinel is a military-friendly university

As a Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC), American Sentinel considers DSST and CLEP results in fast-tracking credit accumulation for active and veteran military students and their spouses. That means you could save money and accelerate your degree completion.
