American Sentinel University is approved to accept payments for VA (GI Bill) tuition benefits. This allows students to use those benefits while attending American Sentinel University and receive up to the maximum tuition reimbursement amounts. Some general guidelines affecting VA benefits and American Sentinel University include:
- Terms are 8 weeks in length (beginning January, 2010)
- Terms begin each month.
- Some payments, like the Montgomery GI Bill tuition benefits, are made directly to the student. Others, like the Post 9/11 GI Bill, are made directly to the school.
- VA benefits may be used in conjunction with company reimbursement as long as the employer is not the Federal government.
Because of American Sentinel's exceptionally low tuition rates, which are well within the maximum tuition allowed by VA reimbursement, you can pursue our degree programs without regard to the VA Yellow Ribbon program.
Determine Your Eligibility
To determine your eligibility for VA educational benefits, visit the Department of Veterans Affairs Web site or call 1-800-827-1000 (U.S. only). All admissions requirements must be completed and the VA recipient (veteran) must be a registered student at American Sentinel University before he/she will be certified for VA benefits.
The Department of Veterans Affairs should always be your primary source of benefit information.

Payment of tuition and fees is a part of the enrollment process and a student is not a registered student until payment is received.
