American Sentinel University continues to provide the military community with distance learning degrees and certification programs relevant to their military and post-military careers. Serving those who serve our country is our privilege.

Serving Military Students

In fact, military students pursuing online degrees in nursing, IT, business, and healthcare programs comprise more than a third of our enrollment.

Online student life, customized and based on individual needs for interactivity, is particularly conducive to the life military students lead. Online course work contains an array of course-specific services to support students as they work on any of American Sentinel University's online degree programs and certifications in healthcare programs, technology, and business.

American Sentinel University is Military-Friendly

Virtually Unlimited Flexibility

You decide when. Frequent relocations, changing work schedules, or demanding and stressful conditions won't keep you from pursuing your online military degree. No set class or log-in times put you in command of your own destiny. For example, asynchronous assignment completion means you don't have to be online specific days of the week or times of the day; you do your work on your schedule, whenever and wherever you have the time - especially helpful for military students who can be deployed or moved.

Global Delivery

You decide where. The unique benefits of online delivery mean you can begin and complete your distance learning degree or certification from any point in the world.

Affordability

TA and VA benefits make degrees for military students accessible, especially for those committed to their goals. Talk to your admissions advisor about using these benefits. Military scholarships are available for active and non-active duty military students and their spouses.

With the GoArmyEd program, American Sentinel offers active Army TA tuition reimbursement deferment. Talk to your admissions advisor about using your TA benefits so you don't have to pay up front. American Sentinel University participates in the SOC Servicemembers Opportunities Colleges program. For more information, complete Request Form, or call us now at 800.729.2427

Military-Friendly Transfer Credit Policy

You have a head start. A no-cost evaluation review of prior college, military training, work experience, DSST, CLEP and ACE can fast-track credit accumulation toward your online degree. American Sentinel University is a member of Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) and abides by the organization's transfer credit policies that help military students complete their degrees as quickly as possible.

Relevant Curriculum

You have world-class partners in your corner. We actively recruit faculty with real-world experience in the global arena to put invaluable tools in your hands to increase your opportunities while serving and in post-military life. Coursework at American Sentinel University benefits you in the position you have now even before you complete your online degree.

"I live and breathe what I learn in school and take it back to my daily job with the Navy and to my own business - project management, security, web development, programming language, advanced database design. I geared my online military degree toward what I want to study." Martin Rieger Navy IT Technician First Class (active) BS IS

"The admissions staff was absolutely fantastic. They extended our term to accommodate us." Kellie Petrie Navy ET Technician First Class (Veteran) BS MIS
