Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Development program is designed for adult learners seeking career advancement in Web site creation. The program is built around a core of technology-oriented specialty courses with emphasis on Web page structure, style and behavior.
Graduates take a hands-on approach to using XHTML and XML to build Web structure, storing different design styles such as Cascading Style Sheets to present documents and using JavaScript and Document Object Model (DOM) scripting to define Web page behavior and interactions. They design Web pages, create code, test and optimize Web graphics and diagnose and solve problems. Graduates should also possess appropriate knowledge, experience and skills to function effectively in multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changes in technology throughout their careers.
The BS in Web Design and Development program courses are open for enrollment twice a month.
