Course Extension and Drop Policy

Extensions: Students may request one 30-day extension per course*. Extension Requests must be made no later than the published end date of the term. Only one extension will be granted per course.

The fee to extend a course for a maximum of 30 days is $65.

If you fail to complete the course within the extension period, you will receive zeroes for all incomplete assignments and a final letter grade will be calculated. If you receive a grade of "F" following the extension, you will be required to re-enroll in the course and pay the appropriate tuition. If you earn a grade of "D" (undergraduate) or "C" (graduate) and the course is required to fulfill major requirements, you may be required to re-enroll in the course and pay the appropriate tuition.

* Students enrolled in CS110, MA115, MA120, ECN220 may request a 60-day extension. Fee for a 60-day extension for these courses is $65.
