In addition to purchasing new books, students have other options for acquiring course materials.

• CUSTOM TEXTBOOKS: American Sentinel has converted some of its textbooks into custom books. Custom books contain ONLY chapters and material needed for a course. These can be only be purchased from ED MAP, our fulfillment partner.
• USED BOOKS: Students can also purchase used books from Amazon, eCampus or other booksellers on the web. (American Sentinel does not recommend specific book suppliers and can't guarantee shipping times)
• BOOK RENTAL: Chegg rents textbooks to students and plants a tree for each book they rent.

If textbooks are included with your tuition, or part of the military book scholarship, American Sentinel will order your books and have them shipped to you once your enrollment in the course is processed. If available we order used books to continue to offer this benefit.

ACCESS CODES: In addition to purchasing a textbook, some courses require that you purchase an Access Code. Access Codes can only be purchased from ED MAP and are required to access the rich media portion of the course.
