American Sentinel University Named Military-Friendly School by Military Advanced Education Magazine for Third Year in a Row

Aurora, CO. (December 7, 2010)  -  American Sentinel University has been selected as a Military Advanced Education Top Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities Honoree. Out of hundreds of institutions reviewed nationwide, American Sentinel was selected for a third consecutive year for its excellence in military-friendly academic, financial and student support services.

With military students accounting for more than a third of its total enrollment, American Sentinel is committed to providing flexible, accessible education well-suited to service members. In addition to military-friendly transfer credit policies, American Sentinel provides its active duty students a unique Extra Credit program. If active-duty students utilize all of their 2011 DoD Tuition Assistance benefits with American Sentinel, they receive one additional complimentary course during the same fiscal year.

“We receive this honor by providing military and business relevant degree programs in addition to cost saving benefits for military members, veterans and their spouses. A flexible online format enables military students to advance their education despite moves and deployments,” says Lt. Col. Paul Capicik (Ret., USAF), Vice President of Military Programs at American Sentinel University.

American Sentinel provides generous military scholarships covering 100 percent of book costs and most active duty service member fees. American Sentinel is also an approved MyCAA military spouse program participant, which offers up to $4,000 in tuition benefits for military spouses.

In addition to tier three degree completion support, the school offers a career preparation website, monthly career planning webinars and a library of articles and resources for military career and transition assistance.
