“The mission of American Sentinel University compels us as educators to provide educational opportunities for students that enhance their professional and civic lives. I cannot think of a more appropriate way to accomplish this than to engage our community of scholars in a dialogue about their country’s Constitutional freedoms,” says Dave Marshall, Ph.D., vice president, academic fairs at American Sentinel University.

Constitution Day (formerly Citizenship Day) commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution by on September 17, 1787. It is an American federal observance that recognizes the adoption of the United States Constitution and those who have become U.S. citizens.

“American Sentinel University is very excited to take part in our first Constitution Day celebration,” says Marshall. “By engaging our university community about its obligations to be civically engaged, we believe we are doing our part to make the Constitution as relevant today as it was in 1787.”
