American Sentinel University Names Recognition Program Awards Winners

– Quarterly Awards Recognize Students, Alumni, Staff and Faculty that Best Embody the University’s Mission and Values –

AURORA, Colo. – October 6, 2016 – American Sentinel University today named the winners of its inaugural American Sentinel Recognition Program presented quarterly to students, alumni, faculty, and staff that best embody the university’s mission and values in their everyday lives. The recognition awards program acknowledges individuals for their valuable contributions and extraordinary achievements that serve the university’s mission to enable its students to enhance their professional and civic lives.

“We take pride recognizing the remarkable individuals who go above and beyond in their roles to best reflect the core values that are crucial to success in education, work, and life,” says Mary Adams, President and Chief Academic Officer at American Sentinel University. “The recipients of this quarter’s recognition program are some of the university’s most precious assets and play a vital role to instill the educational values needed to enhance their professional and civic lives working in organizations around the globe.”

The winners of this quarter’s American Sentinel Recognition Program include:

Julie Janke, a BSN student at American Sentinel University, is the winner of The American Sentinel Student Recognition Program. Janke exceeded student expectations by readily assisting classmates and providing reference and study materials, all while balancing her coursework, career, and family.

Carolyn Rupp, a student success advisor at American Sentinel University, is the winner of The American Sentinel Staff Recognition Program acknowledging Rupp’s dedication to the student experience and creating a sense of community at the university. She is driven to help every student succeed and places emphasis on appreciating the diversity of every single student at the university.

Janke and Rupp each receive a letter, certificate, and a $50 gift certificate to the American Sentinel University Store.

Sarah Moore, Assistant Professor, RN, MSN at American Sentinel University was named the winner of this quarter’s American Sentinel Faculty of the Year Award. Moore’s eagerness to help new students transition into the university, feel at ease and ready to succeed, and her dedication to broadening the learning experience embody excellence in teaching at American Sentinel.

Moore receives a letter, certificate, and a $50 gift certificate to the American Sentinel University Store and is a candidate for Faculty of the Year to be recognized at the University commencement ceremonies in June 2017.
