Team American Sentinel: Suzette Brown

Each Friday we will be introducing you to one player on the American Sentinel University team. Everyone works hard to make sure our students reach their goals through supporting students and constantly improving our curriculum. When our students graduate with a relevant, innovative healthcare degree we all win!

Meet Admissions Advisor, Suzette Brown

What is your favorite part of your position with American Sentinel?

Helping students to obtain their goals and letting them know that they’re never too old to learn. Also letting them know that you can’t grow without change. Believing this helps me personally strive to “walk the talk.”

What is your favorite inspirational quote?

“Do not let making a living prevent you from making a life.” – John R. Wooden

What do you like to do outside work?

I enjoy traveling, hanging with my kids, jogging, reading, and cooking.

What is your favorite part of autumn?

Being in Alabama, I definitely enjoy the cooler weather and seeing the leaves change colors.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Well I have two – either to be invisible, or to be able to snap my fingers and it would take me somewhere else.

As a child, what did you want to be “when you grew up”?

A nurse, or a travel agent.

Have you dreamed of earning your BSN, MSN or DNP? With American Sentinel, you can make that dream a reality.
