Business Informatics Program Overview
Students earning the informatics specialization will learn how to manage key information systems and utilize data to make organizational decisions. They will acquire a working knowledge of database, enterprise information and management information systems, and will learn about the latest information security systems to protect an enterprise’s assets.
Business Informatics Specialization Learning Outcomes
Graduates of the business informatics degree program will be able to:
- Create business database architecture.
- Utilize analytic software to solve business problems.
- Analyze and propose organization-wide information technology solutions which provide. optimal support to improve the quality of operations.
- Organize strategies for the protection of data, communications, and critical organizational information.
- Develop a strategic plan for adapting information systems solutions to improve the enterprise.
