Program Overview
The Finance specialization option within the Bachelor of Science Business Administration (BSBA) program is designed for students seeking to acquire a high level of knowledge from a broad base of business concepts to analyze and guide the organization's financial direction.Students will focus on accounting and financial strategies necessary to develop strategies to ensure the financial viability and growth of an organization. Student will use simulation software to evaluate critical financial and business risk threats. Students will also explore the implications of international financial markets and global business issues.
Program Objectives
In addition to achieving general education learning objectives, graduates from the Bachelor of Science Business Administration program will be able to:- Conduct and manage complex accounting review, analysis, and audit activities.
- Discuss the implications of the international financial market on an industry of choice.
- Utilize simulated scenarios to conduct risk assessment and make recommendations for strategic actions.
- Conduct and manage financial analysis.
- Develop a financial plan for a new strategic venture.
