Team American Sentinel: Heather Bolte

Each Friday we will be introducing you to one player on the American Sentinel University team. Everyone works hard to make sure our students reach their goals through supporting students and constantly improving our curriculum. When our students graduate with a relevant, innovative healthcare degree we all win!

Meet Admissions Advisor, Heather Bolte

What is your favorite book, or author?

Angela’s Ashes by Frank McCourt. I had the honor of not only meeting him, but also having lunch with him – amazing man!

What is your favorite quote?

“And though she be but little, she is fierce.” – William Shakespeare from A Midsummer Night’s Dream

What is your favorite part about your position with American Sentinel?

I have the opportunity to help students take the next step in their educational journey; I’m able to be their cheerleader, support system, and advocate on this journey – it’s incredible.

When you were little, who was your favorite superhero?

Wonder Woman! She’s a fierce woman that isn’t afraid to take anything head-on, but always able to maintain a level of grace. She’s a founding member of the Justice League, demi-goddess, and warrior princess – what’s not to love!?!

What do you like to do outside of work?

I love to play soccer! I played all the way through college and still play for fun.

If you could be anyone for one day, who would it be?

Mia Hamm. She was a pioneer in not only women’s soccer, but in women’s professional sports. Two-time Olympic gold medalist and part of the first US Women’s soccer team to win the World Cup. Although she is retired from playing in the professional arena, she continues to support not only local but youth programs which help foster not only soccer skills, but life skills for the younger generations.

Have you dreamed of earning your BSNMSN or DNP? With American Sentinel, you can make that dream a reality.
