Research has supported that novice graduate nurses with less than one year of nursing experience receive benefits in their patient care when they participate in a one-year registered nurse transition to practice program. These programs have proven to decrease health care facility’s turnover rates because graduate nurses are more confident and comfortable with the support and training they receive while participating in this program.
