DEAC Accreditation

American Sentinel University is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission, DEAC, 1101 17th Street NW, Suite 808, Washington, DC 20036, (202) 234-5100, www.deac.org, which is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. The Distance Education Accrediting Commission is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). American Sentinel University’s next on-site evaluation by DEAC will be in Fall, 2019. DEAC Consumer Information Disclosure Form.
CCNE Accreditation

American Sentinel’s RN to BSN, RN to BSN/MSN and Master of Science Nursing programs are accredited by the CCNE, 655 K Street, NW, Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, (202) 887-6791. Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a specialized professional accreditation agency, the CCNE is an autonomous branch of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, the only accrediting body devoted exclusively to evaluating baccalaureate and graduate nursing degree programs. American Sentinel University’s next on-site evaluation by CCNE will be in Spring 2024.
ACEN Accreditation

American Sentinel University’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), formerly NLNAC, 3343 Peachtree Road, NE, Suite 850, Atlanta, GA 30326, (404) 975-5000, fax (404) 975-5020, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). American Sentinel University’s next on-site evaluation by ACEN will be in Fall 2026.
