SIMPath® RN to BSN Student with Jasper Memorial Hospital
The BSN has taught me how to better understand the importance of evidence-based practice. There’s nothing more important! It’s also really gotten me thinking about things like teaching online one day and finding ways to contribute to my organization.

We understand as a nurse you want to focus on nursing courses, so we offer many ways for you to earn general education credit quickly and inexpensively, such as: Credit By Exam, Test Out, or College Credit.
Your General Education credits count. We work hard to award the maximum amount of transfer credit you deserve to shorten your path to completing your degree. Your previous General Education credits DO NOT expire which means they may be eligible to transfer no matter when you completed them.
Term-based RN to BSN Curriculum
The RN to BSN degree program is based on the Colorado Nursing Articulation Model. Nursing students will be awarded 60 credit hours of the total 120 credit hours for their U.S. RN license and original nursing curriculum, including foundational courses, from an associate degree in nursing or a diploma in nursing. As many facilities are working toward 80% BSN by 2020 and the Affordable Care Act is pressuring facilities to place even more emphasis on managing readmissions and costs, a BSN degree is becoming more crucial every day. Our BSN curriculum focuses on the most relevant areas of nursing today: management, community health, strategic planning and more. To be at the forefront of nursing education, we not only strive to meet accreditors’ guidelines, but we also work to meet the needs of our nursing students. Both our students and AACN agree, nursing is a practice profession. So, to enhance the experience of our nursing students, we offer Practice Experiences as part of our online BSN program. These experiences are built into the courses and do not add additional work. Instead, they offer more interactive learning assignments.
